Meet Anne Marie:
Hello! I’m a 2L at UC Irvine School of Law and excited to serve as an Admissions Ambassador and Chair of ASW and Community Building. One of the things I value most about UC Irvine Law is its collaborative, welcoming culture, and I enjoy helping prospective students think through what they’re looking for in a law school—academically, professionally, and personally.

Before law school, I graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Spanish and Global Studies and later earned my Master of Public Health from UC Irvine. I also spent a year living and working in Madrid, Spain. My interdisciplinary background ultimately led me to law school and continues to shape the areas of law I’m interested in exploring.

At UC Irvine Law, I’ve been especially drawn to intellectual property law and the ways IP intersects with technology, innovation, and creative and commercial interests.

Outside of law school, I enjoy live music, cooking, traveling, bowling, and mystery audiobooks. As someone who took a nontraditional path to law school, I’m always happy to connect with prospective and admitted students, especially those navigating similar transitions or exploring how prior experiences fit into a legal career. Please feel free to reach out. I’d love to connect!
