Meet Sarah:
Hi everyone! I’m a third-year law student and Admissions Ambassador at UC Irvine Law. I’m excited to connect with prospective students, answer questions, and share why I chose UC Irvine Law—and what has made my time here so meaningful.

I was initially drawn to UC Irvine Law for its emphasis on experiential learning. As someone who had never been around lawyers growing up, I knew I wanted opportunities beyond the classroom that would help me develop practical skills early on. Through my clinical and pro bono work, I’ve been able to build substantive legal experience, engage with important issues, and see what effective advocacy looks like in practice.

Attending Admitted Students Weekend was what ultimately solidified my decision to attend UC Irvine Law. The students, professors, and alumni I met were genuinely welcoming and invested in one another’s success. That sense of community has continued throughout my time here. I see it in the way students support one another and in the relationships we build with professors, who are not only excellent teachers but also truly care about their students.

My time at UC Irvine Law has been more rewarding than I ever expected. I have felt challenged, supported, and very fortunate to be part of this community. I hope I can make the law school search process a little easier by sharing my experience and giving prospective students a better sense of what makes UC Irvine Law special.
